EnglishExploring pivotal moments from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and turning them on their head, taking audiences into uncharted territory. Chadwick Boseman’s final Marvel project before his death. The Watcher: [Episode opening narration] Time. Space. Reality. It’s more than a linear path. It’s a prism of infinite possibilities, where a single choice can branch into infinite realities, creating alternate worlds to the ones you know. I am the Watcher. I am your guide through these vast new realities. Follow me and ponder the question… “What if?” After the Marvel logo appears, it transitions to an animated form in the series’ art style. Edited in Marvel Studios: Legends: Guardians of the Multiverse (2023). A very simple episode of rushing to put the pieces of the puzzle together. And my facial expressions were also pretty blunt while watching this episode as there was no thrill or even logical storytelling, I understand it’s an animated show aimed at kids maybe? But only kids who know the whole MCU so far might enjoy it. Let’s see how the other episodes go but I’m definitely not that excited about them after this one. Edit: The 2nd episode gave the real feel of what the MCU is all about, it was creative and thoughtful with some major WHAT IF moments. I really enjoyed seeing T’challa back on screen. However, the 3rd episode was a game changer and made me change this review. It was so thrilling and exciting to watch that I could have watched an entire movie based on this episode. It re-explored the characters we know to a level that leaves you wanting more. I hope to get a 10 star review by the end of the season. Edit II: Here’s my one more star for a “strange” A thought provoking episode that is by far the best of them all in terms of writing, voiceover, animation, and storyline. Special shout out to Benedict Cumberbatch for nailing the voiceover like a boss. Kudos to Marvel for making this one. However, coming into episode 5, the episode was entertaining for sure, it was humorous and engaging with quality animation, but again, it showed too much at once, not giving the viewers enough time to absorb things. Still a 9/10 overall for the series until at least the next two episodes. They need to beat episode 4 to get a 10 from me.
